Deep Sea GuideD E E P S E A
Far beyond the open ocean lies a special area: the Deep Sea. Islands and treasure everywhere, and NPCs, a cargo ship, Bradley APCs and a boss waiting for you. This is the only PvPvE area on the server, and the code word is “Don’t Shoot!” Talk to each other, and bring the loot home together 🚀

The Deep Sea is PvPvE — but the real opponent is still the NPCs ⚔️
Four rules that keep shooting each other from taking over 🛡️
PvP is only a deterrent. So that gear gaps and accidents do not ruin the run, the Deep Sea has settings that weaken player-versus-player fighting.
🛡️Teammates can never hit you
Damage between members of the same team is always zero. Friendly fire simply does not happen. Form a team before you head out.* Clans and friends are not covered. Teammates’ bases, vehicles and turrets are not covered either.
🩹Player damage is halved
Inside the Deep Sea, damage you take from other players is half the usual amount. Even an ambush rarely kills instantly, so you have room to run or recover.* Damage to bases and vehicles is unchanged.
✨Enchantments do nothing to players
Weapon enchantments only fire against NPCs, Bradley APCs, helicopters and structures. Against players they do nothing at all, so a gear gap cannot become a one-sided fight.
🎒Nobody can loot your death drop
Your corpse and drop bag cannot be opened by anyone but you (same as the main map). Even if you go down, you can go back and collect your things. PvP cannot be used to steal loot.
Killing someone gets you none of their loot and not a single ranking point. In other words, there is almost nothing to gain from PvP in the Deep Sea. So say it first: “Don’t Shoot!” Working together simply brings home more.
- 1️⃣ Say “Don’t Shoot!” as soon as you meet
- 2️⃣ If they say it back, hold your fire
- 3️⃣ Then go clear some NPCs together
New: a cargo ship and Bradley APCs, which the Deep Sea never had before 🚢
Two big additions you have never seen out here. A cargo ship packed with crates, and a boss Bradley APC that appears on the beach. Both need a plan that only works in the Deep Sea.
New Contents ✨
A cargo ship and Bradley APCs have arrived in the Deep Sea. Both show up at fixed times during an opening (see the Event Timeline below).
🔍 The cargo ship at sea
🔍 A Bradley on deckCargo Ship — a hold full of treasure
A cargo ship crewed by NPCs sails the Deep Sea, carrying 21 crates (3 locked, 4 elite, 8 military, 6 normal). One ship per opening, and it stays until the Deep Sea closes.
- Board the ship and make your way to the bridge
- Use a red key card on the card reader on the bridge, and the door down to the cargo hold opens
- A pile of treasure is waiting in the hold. Grab it and get out!
There is a catch: a Bradley APC patrols the ship. Fight it out on deck, take the Bradley down first, or slip past the crew straight to the hold?
── How would you crack it?
🔍 The boss Bradley on the beachBoss Bradley — a showdown on an open beach
Partway into an opening, a Bradley APC appears on the beach as the boss, with double the usual health. A map marker goes up and everyone is notified. Destroy it for extra loot.
There is no cover anywhere around it. Stand in the open and trade shots head-on, and you will be scrap in seconds.
That is where building comes in. Building is allowed on Deep Sea islands. Throw up walls to break its line of sight, stack a tower to shoot down from, build a platform to launch rockets from. Use your building skills to take the boss down. And it is a lot easier with the people you just said “Don’t Shoot!” to.
No more long voyages. One button from your base to the Deep Sea 🌀
Teleporting is free and unlimited, and you keep every item and everything you are wearing. Both directions are instant, so you can fit a Deep Sea run into a spare moment. That glowing gate in the photo is the portal home.
How to teleport 🌀
Going out is done from the DeepSea Menu, and coming back from the glowing portal in the city. Both take seconds.
🚀 Out: main map → Deep Sea
FROM YOUR BASE- Stand at your own base (inside the build privilege range of your Tool Cupboard)
- Type /menu in chat to open the menu, then press “DeepSea Menu”
- On the “DeepSea” tab, press “Warp to DeepSea”
- Choose “Yes” on the confirmation, and you arrive at the floating city instantly!
* You cannot teleport while mounted on a vehicle. Entry is blocked while the Deep Sea is closed, and from 15 minutes before it closes.
🏠 Back: Deep Sea → main map
BACK TO HOME- Head to the glowing portal inside the floating city (look for the “Teleport Portal” marker on the map)
- Touch the portal and the return menu opens
- Pick a sleeping bag or bed at the base you left from, and you are home!
* If you sailed in by boat instead, you can pick any bag or bed inside a Tool Cupboard you are authorized on.
Teleporting is free with no limit on how often you use it, and everything you are carrying comes with you. Fill your bag out there and haul it straight back to your base! Team up before you leave and you never have to worry about hitting your own people.

Buy a boat or a heli on the spot and own the sea and sky ⛵🚁
Vehicle lineup & prices ⛵
You buy them from the DeepSea Menu. Everything is paid in scrap, the vehicle spawns right where you are, and it comes fuelled.
| Vehicle | Price (scrap) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 🛶 Rowboat | 80 | The easy pick for hopping between islands |
| 🚤 RHIB | 150 | Tough and roomy. The classic team ride |
| 🤿 Solo Submarine | 125 | Sneak in from underwater |
| 🌊 Duo Submarine | 200 | Two seats, plus torpedoes for underwater fights |
| 🚁 Minicopter | 125 | Hop from island to island in seconds |
| 🚁 Scrap Heli | 200 | Carries loot and teammates alike |
| 🚁 Attack Heli | 400 | Rule the sky with raw firepower |
Helis cost half the usual price here, because you cannot take them out of the Deep Sea. Use them hard while you are inside (boats you can ride home).
⏱️Purchase cooldown
You can buy 3 boats per hour in total, and 1 heli per hour across all heli types.
🌀Gone at close
Any vehicle you leave in the Deep Sea disappears the moment it closes. If you want that boat, ride it home early!
🔫Other players can destroy it
The Deep Sea is PvPvE, so the vehicle you bought can be attacked by other players. Do not abandon it, and think about where you park.
Our own rules: build freely, place bags freely — but it all vanishes at close 🏗️
The VIVIDUS Deep Sea is set up differently from vanilla. Build a base on an island, drop a sleeping bag, and run your attacks from a forward camp. The trade-off: everything you placed is erased when it closes.
Our own rules 📐
Settings that apply only inside the Deep Sea. You can build, you can respawn, but nothing survives. Keep these three in mind.
🔍 An island battlefield🏗️ Building allowed
You can build on the islands. Walls to break line of sight, a tower to shoot down from, a platform for the boss fight. Out here, building is a weapon.
🔍 The floating city🛏️ Sleeping bags allowed
You can place sleeping bags too, so if you go down you respawn on the spot and go again. Put one in your forward camp and use it as a staging point.
🔍 A ghost ship🌀 Everything vanishes at close
Anything you placed is wiped when the Deep Sea closes — structures, bags, vehicles, and any loot you left lying around. Treat it as a disposable camp for that opening only.
🏝️Far more islands & NPCs
20 islands, 8 ghost ships and 30 enemy RHIBs, plus the huge floating city. Islands and ships are packed with NPCs, so the density of exploring and fighting is on another level!
💎Better loot
Crates hold more than they do on the main map, and opening one can add a bonus item (an AK or rifle ammo). Locked crates only take 5 minutes to hack!
🔫Your base can be raided
The Deep Sea is PvPvE, so a base you build on an island can be attacked by other players. Someone else’s turrets will shoot you, too.
Everything that happens in 90 minutes ⏱️
The Deep Sea opens for 90 minutes, then closes, over and over. At close everything inside is wiped, and 15 to 30 minutes later the next opening begins. Treasure stashes, the cargo ship, supply drops, and the boss Bradley. Learn what happens when and pick your target.
Event timeline ⏱️
Everything is tied to how long the Deep Sea has been open. The cargo ship at 15 minutes, the boss at 45 — memorise those two. Openings and closes are announced in chat and by toast, with countdowns at 30, 15, 5 and 1 minute remaining.
🔔 Opening & treasure hunt
The opening is announced and the islands, city and loot are generated fresh. Moments later, 3 treasure stashes are hidden on random islands (shown on the map). Inside: supply signals, targeting computers and tech trash. First come, first served!
🚢 The cargo ship arrives
A cargo ship sets sail carrying NPC crew, a Bradley APC and 21 crates (3 of them locked). One ship per opening, and it stays right through to the close. Take your time, or wait until the other boats thin out. The hold door needs a red key card.
🔍 Cargo ship
🔍 Bradley on deck📦 Supply drops
A supply drop lands at 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 minutes (shown on the map). Crowds gather where they land — a good moment for a “Don’t Shoot!”
🛡️ The boss Bradley appears
A Bradley APC with double health appears on the beach and starts patrolling the islands. A map marker goes up and everyone is notified. Destroy it for extra loot. This is your biggest ranking opportunity — build a platform and bring the people you agreed not to shoot.
🔍 The boss Bradley⚠️ Entry closes
Once under 15 minutes remain, neither the teleport nor the portal will let anyone new in. If you are inside, start packing up.
☢️ Radiation warning
The radiation warning starts with 5 minutes left. The city’s return portal still works during this phase, so hurry back.
🌀 Close → reopens in 15–30 min
Everything inside is reset. Islands, ships, bases and vehicles all disappear, and anyone still there takes radiation damage. After a 15 to 30 minute break, a brand new Deep Sea opens.
Stay inside after it closes and you will take radiation damage. Once the countdown starts, head home with time to spare. You can check whether it is open and how long is left on the “DeepSea Status” tab of the DeepSea Menu at any time (it also lists who is currently inside).
Start hacking a locked crate on a ghost ship and everyone on the server is told about it. Will you be hunted, or will “Don’t Shoot!” get you through? That tension is what the Deep Sea is about.
Deep Sea Showdown — every point of damage counts 🏆
From the moment the Deep Sea opens until it closes, your total damage to NPCs, Bradley APCs, the boss, enemy RHIBs and sharks is what you compete on. Shooting players scores nothing at all. If you are going for the ranking, your target is the NPCs.
🔍 Bradleys and the boss are worth the most
Your score is damage dealt
Island NPCs, ghost ships, the cargo ship crew and its Bradley, the boss, enemy RHIBs, sharks. If it is an enemy, it scores.
Scored per person, always
Even when a crowd attacks the same enemy, you get credit for exactly what you dealt. The killing blow is irrelevant, so teaming up costs you nothing.
Ranked by your personal best
The ranking lists your best single opening across all of them, so one great run is enough to get your name up there. Check it from the “DeepSea” tab with “View My Score” and “View Ranking”.
Damage to players scores zero
However many players you kill in PvP, none of it counts toward the ranking. Enchantments do not work on them either. There is barely a reason to shoot.
Things worth remembering 📋
Keep these in mind and you will get the most out of the Deep Sea!
⚠️No entry in the last 15 minutes
Once under 15 minutes remain, nobody new can get in. Check the time left on the “DeepSea Status” tab!
☢️Everything resets at close
Structures, sleeping bags, vehicles and loot are all erased at close. Anyone still inside takes radiation damage.
💀You still drop on death
Die to an NPC, radiation, a fall or another player and your items drop as usual. But nobody else can take them. Pack accordingly!
🔫Bases and vehicles get destroyed
A base you build on an island, or a boat or heli you bought, can be attacked by other players. Someone else’s turrets will shoot you too.
💬Trash talk is punishable
Even in a PvPvE area, chat manners are the same as on the main map. Taunting, insults and naming-and-shaming are all punishable. Shoot if you must, but choose your words.
🤝When in doubt, “Don’t Shoot!”
Run into a stranger? Say it first. The Deep Sea is a place where choosing not to fight pays off the most.
🔔 When the opening is announced, grab your team and dive in!
One button from your base to the Deep Sea. Say “Don’t Shoot!” the moment you meet someone.
Take on the cargo ship and the Bradleys, and bring the loot home in one piece 🚀
