WHAT ARE DYNAMIC MONUMENTS?

What are Dynamic Monuments?

This server is dotted with all sorts of completely original monuments that don’t exist in vanilla RUST. A beached tanker, a submarine washed up from the deep, a rusted-out giant dam—all jaw-dropping locations you’ve never seen. These are always shown with a marker on the map, so you can take them on whenever you like. Each monument has a level, and the enemy strength, numbers, and rewards change with it. Collect the Dog Tags sleeping in the crates and you can cash them in for RP Points too. Explorers of the wasteland—go see it with your own eyes ⚔️

THE BASICS

The basic rules of Dynamic Monuments 📊

Lock in just these before you take one on. “Always present,” “hourly reset,” and “level-based” are the three keys to the run.

HOURLY RESET

How the hourly “reset” works

Dynamic Monuments reset to a clean state at the top of every hour. Understand this mechanic and you can farm them safely and efficiently.

1

Start exploring anytime 🗺️

Dynamic Monuments are always shown with a marker on the map. No waiting for a spawn—just head over whenever you like, using the marker.

2

5 min before reset — a heads-up message 📢

As the top-of-the-hour reset approaches, a heads-up message goes out 5 minutes before. That’s your “reset’s coming” signal. If you’re looting inside, start prepping to pull out from here.

3

Top of the hour — the reset runs 🔄

When the clock hits the hour, the monument resets and the enemy NPCs and crate contents come back fresh. In other words, every hour you can go for that sweet loot all over again.

4

During the reset, get outside the monument ☠️

But take care. If you’re inside the monument when the reset hits, you might get caught in it and die. When the 5-minutes-before message shows, be sure to retreat outside the monument. Wait out the reset in a safe zone, then charge back in!

MUST READ

Must-read notes before you take one on ⚠️

Here are the key points that prevent pointless deaths just by knowing them. Watch out especially for the reset timing!

☠️ Get caught in the reset and you die

At the top-of-the-hour reset, if you remain inside the monument you might get caught in it and die. Don’t lose your hard-won loot—get outside before the reset.

📢 Don’t miss the 5-minutes-before heads-up

A heads-up message always plays 5 minutes before the reset. Use it as your signal to decide when to pull out. Pushing your luck with “just a little more…” can be fatal.

🎚️ Check the level to pick where to go

Each monument has a set level, and higher levels mean stronger, more numerous enemies. It’s safest to start from a place that fits your gear and crew.

🏷️ Always collect Dog Tags

The Dog Tags in crates can be cashed in for RP Points—a valuable item. Don’t just grab supplies; collect Dog Tags too and steadily earn RP.

LEVEL SYSTEM

Level changes the “difficulty” and “rewards” 🎚️

Each monument has a set level. The higher the level, the stronger and more numerous the enemies—but the richer the loot you get in return. Weigh the risk against the reward and take it on.

DOG TAGS & RP

Collect Dog Tags and earn RP 🏷️

In the crates of the Dynamic Monuments, “Dog Tags” sleep among the supplies. This is the fast track to steadily building your fortune.

🏷️

Collect Dog Tags from crates

The crates inside a monument can hold Dog Tags. The more enemies you kill and the more crates you loot, the more chances you get. When you find them, reliably collect every one.

💠

Turn what you collect into RP Points

The Dog Tags you collect can be earned as RP Points. The crates come back with each hourly reset, so the more you farm, the more your RP piles up.

  • Collect Dog Tags from crates
  • Earn RP Points with the Dog Tags you collect
  • Farm again and again with the hourly reset
